Weather update:
This afternoon will actually feel nice outside .. with sunshine and light winds.

After temperatures began below zero in some spots this morning .. to the above zero single digits elsewhere, highs top out in the low to mid- 20s.
Tonight turns out cloudy late at night ... there could be some patchy fog as well. Readings will remain steady in the 20s.
*** Some re-freezing on secondary roads can cause slick spots ***

Tomorrow begins with temperatures in the upper 20s ...

*** Some sleet or freezing rain is possible in the morning for central and northern NJ, NYC, as well as Long Island ***
This frozen or mixed precipitation can fall until around 10 -11am... before changing to light rain.
Light rain is likely for southern NJ, westward to Philadelphia.
Showers can be expected in the afternoon for all areas.

Sunday turns much milder in the afternoon, with highs in the lower, to some mid-40s.
A steady rain is likely Sunday night, as a cold front approaches.
Temperatures remain in the 40s.

Monday begins with rain, and readings in the 40s.
The cold front moves through in the morning...
Falling temperatures with flurries or snow-showers are expected in the afternoon and evening. A dusting is possible.
By evening, readings will be down into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

*** Arctic air returns for Tuesday ***
Highs only reach the teens, along with wind gusts to 35mph, creating wind-chill values around 10 to 15 degrees below zero.
Snow flurries are possible again as well.

High temperatures reach the 20s on Wednesday with a mix of sun and clouds...

Will the end of the week end on a stormy note?
