Showers ending for the rest of NJ metro

Latest update: 3:15pm -- 5/15/0213

Shower chances will be moving out of New Jersey metro in the next hour or two, with southern NJ seeing the highest threat for wet weather...
Temperatures this afternoon will range from the lower 60s in NYC and the coast, to the lower 70s for inland sections of the Garden state...

Tonight could see some clouds around early, with clearing overnight. Temperatures only fall into the 50s for most areas.

Thursday and Friday are expected to be dry days with partly to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will top out in the 70s to around 80 for both days. Cooler conditions along the shore.

The weekend forecast is uncertain...
A storm system and a fair weather area of high pressure will do battle by that time. Right now, Saturday should be the nicer of the two days, with rain possible on Sunday. Temperatures will be quite cool along the shore, with highs in the upper 50s to around 60, with inland areas reaching the mid- and upper 60s.

Showers could linger into the start of next week, along with similar weekend temperatures.

** More details on the weekend in the coming days **
