Sunny and breezy on Sunday for NJ metro

Plenty of sunshine will round out the weekend today...

Bright skies are expected for the rest of the day, with highs between 60 and 65 degrees inland, and upper 50s along the coast. There will be a breeze at times, particularly along the shore.

Tonight will be mainly clear and chilly, as temperatures drop into the 40s for much of the metro area.

Monday turns out partly to mostly sunny. High temperatures are expected to top out in the mid- 60s.
Monday night is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy. Lows fall to between 45 and 50 degrees

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy -- some light rain is possible late in the day or at night, especially for southern New Jersey. Temperatures are expected to reach the 60s.

By Wednesday and Thursday, a storm moving up the East coast will be close enough for some showers in the area, along with similar temperatures.

The sun will return by Friday, with highs around 70 degrees.
