Improving weather over the holiday weekend for NJ metro

After wet weather and a fall-like chill in the air to end the week, the holiday weekend will see the sun return, along with warming temperatures...

Friday night continues chilly, with some on-and-off light rain.  Temperatures will remain steady in the mic-40s, along with a gusty breeze.

On Saturday, areas in northern NJ, NYC, and Long Island are expected to see some rain through early afternoon, with temperatures in the 50s...
For central and southern NJ, the light rain should end in the early morning, with perhaps even the sun peeking through the clouds during the afternoon.  Temperatures will top out around 60 degrees.

** All areas will be windy, gusting over 40mph at times. **

Sunday continues windy, but with mostly sunny skies, and highs in the mid- and upper 60s.

Memorial Day Monday looks great, with sunny skies, and much warmer temperatures, reaching between 70 and 75 degrees!

Tuesday and Wednesday will see even warmer temperatures, with partly sunny conditions.
