Weather summary:
Some scattered showers for NJ/ NYC and Long Island today...
Severe weather or heavy downpours are not expected.
Temperatures that are now in the 60s will remain steady, and then fall into the upper 50s by late in the afternoon...
More light rain around tonight, along with a gusty breeze.
The holiday weekend is expected to see plenty of dry time --
