A cool and bright start to the work-week for NJ metro

Latest post: 9:10am -- 5/13/2013

Temperatures early this morning were in the 30s for many areas in NJ and Long Island...

Temperatures today will only reach the upper 50s and lower 60s... along with plenty of sunshine. Winds are not expected to be as gusty as on Sunday.

Tonight turns colder once again, under clear skies. Lows drop into the 30s and lower 40s.

Tuesday remains cool and sunny, with highs between 60 and 65 degrees.

Wednesday turns milder, with more clouds and maybe an afternoon shower. Temperatures top out in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.

Thursday and Friday will be warm, but with a chance of showers. High temperatures are expected to reach the mid- 70s.

Next weekend looks warm and dry at this point.
