Clouds breaking for sun today for NJ metro

Clouds are expected to break for more sunshine by late morning, with partly sunny skies for this afternoon. Temperatures will reach the mid-60s inland, and 60 degrees at the coast. Winds will be light.

Tonight turns out mostly cloudy. Some patchy fog is also possible. Lows drop to between 45 and 50 degrees for much of the area.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy -- some light rain is possible by evening, particularly for southern New Jersey. High temperatures will top out in the mid- to upper 60s inland, and closer to 60 degrees along the shore.

By Wednesday and Thursday, some much-needed rain is likely, as a storm moves up the East coast. Highs are expected to reach the mid- 60s.

Friday turns out partly sunny, as temperatures turn warmer, reaching 70 degrees.
