After 1pm, more showers will re-develop as a weather disturbance crosses the area.
Temperatures top out in the mid- to upper 60s today.

For tonight, rain will be ending by early evening, and some clearing will move in. Lows fall into the lower to mid- 50s.

Friday, to end the week, is expected to turn warmer, and the sun will make an appearance for much of the day. Highs reach near 80 degrees inland, and between 60 and 65 degrees along the coast. A shower or thunderstorm moves in to northwestern NJ after 7pm in the evening.
All areas will see showers and thunderstorms Friday night, along with cool temperatures.

The weekend begins wet, with more rain on Saturday, some of which is expected to be heavy. Highs will top out around 70 degrees.

** Mother's Day Sunday looks dry and sunny, but breezy, with temperatures reaching the 60s to around 70. **
