Waiting for the rain in NJ metro
Weather update:
With clouds delayed a bit -- temperatures are about 3 - 5 degrees higher than previously expected. One or two locations in New Jersey may touch 90 degrees between 2 and 3pm -- if this happens, it would extend the heat wave to a 4th consecutive day...
The weather front is still scheduled to bring heavy thunderstorms developing between 3 and 5pm, first in NW New Jersey, and later for the rest of the Garden state and New York City, with Long Island waiting until around 6pm for the rain to arrive. Severe weather potential will be monitored.
