NJ metro work-week forecast

Fathers Day Sunday was very nice, as the showers stayed away for much of NJ metro...
Sunday night will be pleasant, under partly cloudy skies. A stray shower or thundershower is possible by morning. Lows fall into the 60s.

Monday, to begin the new work-week, stays warm, with increasing humidity. Scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop in the afternoon, particularly for areas in northern and western New Jersey. High top out in the mid- 80s inland, with lower 70s at the shore.

Tuesday has the highest chance for wet weather, which could continue into the night-time hours as well. Daytime highs reach between 80 and 85 degrees inland, and upper 60s to lower 70s at the coast.
Night-time readings will mainly be in the 70s.

** A nice stretch of storm-free weather looks to arrive for the middle and second half of the week -- which is likely to continue through next weekend **

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday is expected to see partly to mostly sunny skies each afternoon, with highs mainly in the 80s for most of the region, with perhaps a bit cooler temperatures at the beaches.

Next weekend should see similar conditions and temperatures.
