Wet and windy weather system arriving soon for NJ metro

Latest post: 6:35pm -- 10/31/2013

Weather update:
The main part of the next system will be arriving toward morning...

Before this, some more showers are possible this evening and overnight, particularly in northwest New Jersey.
Winds become gusty reaching 15-20 mph, and somewhat higher over Long Island.

Tomorrow will see a steady rain in the morning, especially between 4am and 9am. Some left-over showers continue until around noon.
Rainfall amounts will range between 0.25" and 0.33". (One-quarter to one-third of an inch).
Winds can reach between 30-35mph, with some gusts to 40mph possible for all areas much of the day.

Highs tomorrow are expected range from the mid-60s at the coast, to between 70 and 75 degrees inland.
Some breaks in the clouds may be seen later in the afternoon.

The weather front is forecast to move away in time for the weekend.
More details for Saturday and Sunday in my next post.
