A mild start to the workweek...
A partly sunny Monday continues, with highs reaching the lower 70s for much of the area, with low humidity and a nice breeze.
Tonight will be turning more humid under mostly cloudy skies, with some patchy fog. There is a chance of a passing shower. Low temperatures fall into the 60s.
Tuesday is expected to be warmer, with partly skies. Temperatures top out in the mid- to upper 80s.
Wednesday turns out to be the hottest day of the week, with 90-degree temperatures likely away from the shore. Cooler readings in the lower 80s will be felt at the the beaches. A shower or thunderstorm is possible away from the coast late in the day, or by evening.
A stray shower or thunderstorm will be left around Wednesday night, with temperatures in the mid- to upper 70s.
*** A strong cold front to arrive late Thursday ***
As this front arrives, showers and thunderstorms are likely Thursday afternoon and evening -- continuing into Thursday night.
Temperatures reach the 80s during the day, with lows at night in the 60s after the front crosses the area.
Heavy downpours will be accompanied with this front, and severe weather possibilities will be monitored.
Friday turns out partly sunny and much cooler, with reading only getting into the lower 70s, along with a gusty breeze.
Saturday and Sunday mornings start out in the 40s and 50s, and highs in the upper 60s in the suburbs, to between 70-75 for the rest of the region.
Both days will be bright and sunny.
More details on the next front to arrive in my next post.
