Monday evening weather update for NJ metro

The latest weather front will be crossing the area over the next 24 hours...

Showers and thunderstorm chances will increase again between 10pm and midnight for the NJ metro area...
Flooding potential will be monitored.
It is expected to remain muggy with some patchy fog late at night.

On Tuesday, there is still the risk for a passing shower or thundershower in the morning, up until lunch-time as the cold front moves through...
Highs top out in the lower 80s, and the humidity will begin to drop late in the day.
Tomorrow night is forecast to be clear and much more comfortable, as lows fall into the 50s in the suburbs, to between 60-65 for much of urban NJ, NYC , and most of Long Island.

** A nice stretch of weather from Wednesday through Friday **
Sunshine can be expected through this period, with highs on Wednesday and Thursday in the low to mid- 80s, and in the mid- to  upper 70s on Friday.
The dry weather is expected to continue into Saturday.
