A cloudy start to the new work-week for NJ metro

A cold front approaching the area will keep clouds around into Monday...

Temperatures are not expected to be a chilly as recent nights, as lows fall into the 50s for much of metro NJ, to around 60 for New York City. Some suburbs of northwestern NJ and Long Island may dip into the upper 40s.

The start of the new work-week may see some scattered showers, especially in the morning on Monday. Temperatures top out in the lower 70s across much of the area. A brisk winds develops in the afternoon and evening.
Tomorrow night turns out mainly clear and breezy. Lows drop into the 40s in the suburbs to around 50 for the rest of the region.

** A sunny stretch of weather returns for much of the rest of the week.**
Tuesday will be the coolest day, starting out in the 40s, with highs in the mid- to upper 60s.
Wednesday through Friday gets warmer each day, with highs in the lower 70s Wednesday, mid-70s on Thursday, and upper 70s to around 80 degrees by the end of the week.

The next chance for rain looks to arrive sometime next weekend.
