A chilly night continues for NJ metro

Clear skies are expected, with temperatures falling into the upper 30s for northwestern sections of New Jersey and parts of Long Island, to the mid- upper 40s for the rest of the Garden state, and around 50 for New York City.

Sunday should be brighter than Saturday, as highs top out between 70-75 for much of the region.

Sunday night will see some increase in clouds, with lows dropping into the 50s for the suburbs, to around 60 degrees for metro NJ and New York City.

Monday could see a few showers, mainly light, especially in the morning. High temperatures reach 70-75.

The rest of the week is forecast to be dry and pleasant, with mostly sunny skies.
Day-time highs will be coolest on Tuesday, topping out in the upper 60s.
For Wednesday through Friday, temperatures are expected to mainly be in the 70s.
Evening temperatures will be mostly in the 60s, with overnight readings in the 50s, and wake-up temperatures each morning will be in the 40s in the suburbs to around 50 elsewhere.
