Weather pattern remains the same for NJ metro

Latest post: 11:25pm -- 7/1/2013

No major changes in the weather pattern tonight and tomorrow...
We are seeing a temporary break in the rain .. but it is expected to return overnight, with some locally heavy rain, especially for northern and western New Jersey.
Showers and thunderstorms become more likely again on Tuesday, and flooding can be expected once again.

On Wednesday, the humidity and one more weather disturbance remain over the area, so showers and thundershowers will be a part of the NJ metro area forecast.

*** A pattern change begins on the 4th of July ***
High pressure will be moving into a better position for the region -- so the chance or rain is minimal -- but maximum temperatures are expected to reach 90 degrees inland, with upper 70s and lowers 80s for the beaches.
The end of the week, and the new weekend should see similar weather conditions.

More updates on the holiday weekend will be posted tomorrow.
