An end to the rain this week for NJ metro is in sight...

Latest post: 8:50am -- 7/3/2013

After a wet start for many areas this week, a drier weather pattern is on the way...

This afternoon is expected to be mostly cloudy... some showers will be around, but flooding is not anticipated. Highs top out in the between 80-85 inland, and upper 70s at the coast.

Tonight could see a few showers as well. Temperatures drop into the upper 60s to lower 70s.

** Fourth of July turns out partly to mostly sunny. **
High pressure will be moving back into the area. Until it fully arrives tomorrow, there is a 20% chance of a shower or thunderstorm -- but this may be reduced once more weather data is analyzed.
Highs reach the upper 80s to around 90 degrees inland, with upper 70s to lower 80s at the shore.

** Tomorrow night is expected to be mainly clear for fireworks festivities. I am not mentioning a chance for rain. Lows fall into the upper 60s to lower 70s once again. **

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be partly to mostly sunny. Hot temperatures are expected to be the main story over the weekend. There is a slight chance (20%) of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. Highs top out around 90 degrees inland, and lower 80s at the beaches. Enjoy!
