Day 5 of the heat wave for NJ metro

Weather update:
Temperatures today will reach between 95 and 100 degrees.
There is a 20% of a thundershower this afternoon.
Tomorrow is expected to top out in the mid- and upper 90s, with a 30% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

*** There is strong evidence the heat will break over the weekend **

A cold front will arrive later Saturday -- not before temperatures get to 95 degrees once more time. Severe weather is a possibility during the evening and night-time hours
Sunday is expected to see the heat wave end, with highs in the mid- 80s --with rain a good possibility.
It will take until Monday for the humidity to be at more comfortable levels.
