Weather front to provide the NJ metro area with rain ...

Our 90-degree streak is expected to end today...

The newest weather front has sped up a bit, and will be increasing the clouds and rain chances this afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms are likely, beginning around noon. Severe weather is not anticipated, but will be monitored. Heavy downpours are most likely today.

The front will be closest to our region on Thursday, bringing more downpours and possibly severe thunderstorms, with highs between 80 and 85 degrees.
This weather system is forecast to exit on Friday, bringing us a nicer, less humid, weekend for the New Jersey metro area.

Updates will be posted as necessary.
