Wet and cooler weather has returned to the Garden state

Wet and cooler for NJ metro to start the new work-week
Latest post: 11:00am -- 4/29/2013

After a very nice weekend, the weather back to work is not as warm or as bright...

Today will be cloudy and much cooler, with occasional rain and drizzle. Some heavy rain is possible for southern NJ, while NYC and Long Island may see little to no wet weather for the daylight hours.
Temperatures will stay nearly steady in the mid- to upper 50s.

Tonight is expected to remain cloudy, with on-and-off rain and drizzle for all areas. Some fog may be around as well. Lows drop to the lower 50s.

For Tuesday, not much change is seen -- as skies continue on the cloudy side -- with some light rain and drizzle once again, particularly for southern New Jersey. Temperatures will top out in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

By Wednesday, some improvement is forecast, with some brighter skies, and highs reaching between 60 and 65 degrees. Rain is not expected at this time.

Thursday and Friday will be the nicest days of the week, with partly to mostly sunny skies, and highs between 65 and 70 degrees.
