A winter chill in the air for New Jersey today

Latest post: 11:15am -- 4/2/2013

After a mild start to the week, it certainly is not feeling like spring today...
Temperatures are only expected to top out in the mid- and upper 40s this afternoon, with a mix of sun and clouds. But a gusty wind will make it feel more like the 30s.
Tonight will be mainly clear and cold, with lows once again falling into the upper 20s and lower 30s across NJ/NYC and Long Island.

Wednesday will see similar weather conditions, with chilly temperatures in the 40s, along with a brisk breeze.

Thursday will start out cold, but a moderation in temperatures is expected, as highs should reach the lower to mid- 50s in the afternoon.

Friday looks wet, with a good chance of rain, with highs around 50 degrees.

The upcoming weekend looks dry, with highs in the 50s.
