Mild to start the new month in New Jersey

Latest post: 9:30am -- 4/1/2013

It has started out mild for the new month and the new work-week. Temperatures are in the 40s to around 50 degrees on Monday morning, with partly to mostly sunny skies.
A strong cold front will be moving through the NJ/NYC metro area this afternoon, and there could even be a shower or two after lunch-time today in a few spots.

All areas will see the temperature drop later today, with readings back in the 40s by the end of the day, as the skies clear.
Tonight will be much colder, with readings dropping into the upper 20s and lower 30s with clear conditions.
Tomorrow and Wednesday will be breezy with a mix of sun and clouds -- but high temperatures will only top out in the mid- to upper 40s, and it will feel more like the 30s with the gusty breeze.

Thursday will be milder, with rain possible by the end of the week on Friday.
