Another cold spring day for NJ metro

Latest post: 11:00am -- 4/3/2013

Temperatures are slowly rising into the 30s late this morning in the NJ/NYC/Long Island area - with sunny skies.
A few clouds will show up this afternoon, with highs only reaching the mid-40s once again, along with more gusty winds.

Tonight will be clear and cold. Lows will dip down into the mid-20s to lower 30s.

Thursday will be milder, with mainly sunny skies. High temperatures will reach the low to mid-50s. Winds will be light.

During Friday, a storm will be moving up the Eastern seaboard. Weather models have not yet determined how close it will come to this area. For now, I will mention a chance for some showers. Temperatures will reach 50 degrees or so in the afternoon, as it becomes windy once again.

Right now, the weekend looks like a mixed bag of weather, with Saturday reaching the 50s, with partly sunny skies.. with Sunday reaching 60 degrees, but a chance of showers in the afternoon.

** An update will be posted on the Friday storm later today **
