Up-and-Down temps. for New Jersey
Temperatures in the Garden state recovered to the 60s on Wednesday as we finally saw the sun for the first time in three days.
A cold front crossing the area this evening will cause a slight drop in afternoon temperatures on Thursday and Friday -- but both days will see plenty of sunshine.
A second cold front will move through the Northeast on Friday resulting in a cool but bright start to the weekend.
Warmer weather is expected in Sunday with highs in the 70s -- and, NO RAIN!!! Enjoy!

Will New Jersey have brighter skies ahead?
It is true that Florida is called the Sunshine state -- but will the gray skies ever clear up in New Jersey? Can we put on a happy face?
The satellite picture does show improvement to our west, and Wednesday has the opportunity for some breaks in the clouds, and milder temperatures.
The weather for the weekend will discussed in my next posting...

New Jersey will get rain ... light rain
6pm Monday radar image
Clouds have dominated much of Monday afternoon, as a storm system off the Mid-Atlantic coast takes shape. Thunderstorms in the Carolinas are proof of a healthy area of low pressure. This weather system will move more out to sea than up the coast, so the Garden state will only see some light rain tonight into Tuesday morning. "Whether" the Jets will beat the Titans tonight is not for me to predict.

New Jersey weekend weather looks good ... for now.
A band of clouds stretches from New England to Atlanta Georgia...
This is in association with a weak weather system which will move through the Garden state later Saturday afternoon and evening...
There is only a 20% chance of rain as this front passes .
Cooler air will arrive tonight ... which will set up a chilly day on Sunday. Rain will knock on our door-step by late morning, and high temperatures will stay in the 50s, along with a gusty wind. It is, after all, autumn, right?
More on this to come.

Weather changes coming for New Jersey...
The end of the work-week will be warm and sunny with highs reaching 80 degrees or higher.
The beginning of the weekend will be the nicer of the 2 days -- with temperatures in the mid- 70s -- and just the slight chance of a late-day or evening shower.
Sunday will remind us that it is in fact the autumn season, with perhaps even a touch of winter in the air, as rain is likely, and highs staying in the 50s along with a brisk breeze. Updates will be posted later today and tomorrow.

The humidity will break on Friday with summer-like temperatures of 80 degrees or higher.
Cooler weather will be felt over the weekend, with Saturday being the nicer of the 2 days, as rain returns for Sunday.
