From the weather desk -- newly formed tropical depression 13 is likely to become tropical storm Lee over the next 24-48 hours. It will become a threat to the Gulf Coast, with flooding rainfall amounts reaching 10-20 inches from Louisiana to the Panhadle of Florida.
Another tropical system -- Katia -- will move across the Atlantic throught the holiday weekend.. Weather models -- despite low accuracy for a 7-10 forecast, are continuing to depict a "threat" anywhere from Bermuda to residents along the East coast.
Updates will continue to be issued -- primarily for Katia -- over the next several days.
